Using
the site couldn’t be easier and registration is free!!!
1. Simply click on the register
button found on the navigation bar at the top and fill in your details.
2. Using our search tool, select the
type of rental and destination you are looking for. (if you wish to widen your
search just leave the required field as the
default)
3. View the rentals currently for
auction that meet your requirement (you will see that time remaining for the
auction and the current bid price on the right)
4. Start bidding.
5. Once you have successfully won the
auction, you will be asked to contact and pay the owner before they send you directions and key collection details.

If you are a holiday rental owner and wish to find out just how easy it is for

If
you are a holiday rental owner looking to add your rental into an auction on
bidabooking.com you will not be charged for listing it. However we will collect
an 8% fee on the final sale price if you are successful in selling your
property on our site. If you choose to use the BuyNow option than an additional surcharge will apply.
Bidding on rentals listed on bidabooking.com is completely free you will not
be charged for using the site. However you will be liable to pay any costs
incurred if you are successful at winning an auction.
Log into your members area and go to My Account and then the Personal Information. Here you can update any
of your personal details.
Visit the Login Page and click on the forgotten password link. You will be asked to enter either your username and email address or your email, a password reminder email will then be sent to your email account.
Visit the login page of the website and click on the Lost Password/and or username. You will then be asked to enter in your email address. A username and password notification will be sent to your email account allowing you to log into the site.
This is not a problem. Bidabooking.com is a worldwide service. If you cannot
find the location of your holiday rental in our current database, you can suggest a new destination to us and will will add this to our database.
All uploaded photos need to be in JPEG, GIF or PNG format.
Avoid special symbols like /,(),",',, etc. in the name of your image to
upload
Avoid large image sizes (preferably max size 800x600)
You may only load a maximum of 4 free photos per rental listing, additional images will incur as fee.
If you wish to list your holiday rental into a new auction for different
availability dates, go to your members area. Under the 'Renting' section, click on ‘open auctions’ select which the holiday rental you wish to amend from the list and
click on the sell similar button. This is located on the right hand side of the listing.
Once in your members area, under the 'Renting' section, select whether the holiday rental you want to modify is open, closed, scheduled or suspended. The holiday rental listing will be displayed on the page with the option to edit details located on the right hand side.
We understand you would rather book your holiday rental out for a set amount opposed
to leaving it sitting empty, bringing no income.
However we also know that booking out your holiday rental costs you money.
Therefore we offer you the option of s a reserve price to ensure that you do
not allow your holiday rental to sell for anything less than the minimum amount
you can afford.
To turn on the Buy Out / Make Offer option, log into your members area and select the correct holiday rental from your list and
click the edit details. The Buy Out / Make Offer option can be found under the auction info section. Simply enter in a buy out/make offer amount and save the updates. To set a price range on the make offer option you will need to enter a minimum and maximum amount in the price range box found in the same area.
By selecting the Buy Out price the bidder is prepared to pay the amount you have
specified. This means your holiday rental will be removed from auction and the
bidder will pay the full asking price. In the event that the auction bids are
already equal to or more than your Buy Out price this option will become invalid
and will be removed. In the event it is selected and the auction bids are below
your Buy Out Price your auction will be terminated and the sale will be awarded
to the bidder who selected Buy Out.
Once logged into your members area, under the 'Renting' section, click on the ‘closed auctions’ select the auction you wish to restart and click on the re-list option located on the right hand side. We run a rating system for all registered bidders on bidabooking.com. Every
time they make a purchase using our site they will be rated by the holiday
rental owner they purchased from. Both their rating and any comments made about
them can be viewed publicly.
You can choose what methods of payment you will accept. Bidabooking.com
facilitates on-line payments to make this process simply, straight forward and secure for
you. However if you wish to collect payment through other methods such as bank
transfer or cheque you may do so. We provide you with a selection of payment options to include on
your listing which allows you to specify your preferred payment methods. On completion of the
auction and payment of your fee to bidabooking.com will release contact
information for the auction winner by email leaving you free to contact the
winner directly to arrange your payment collection.
At the current time Bidabooking.com does not charge VAT on its fees.
Bidabooking,com has a marketing strategy that targets both on-line and off-line
channels. All marketing activities are designed to generate more visitors to
our site and to your listings. Marketing channels include but are not limited
to Social Media and on-line marketing, participation in on-line forums and
discussions, PR campaigns with the national media and Search engine advertising
and optimisation including the optimisation of individual listings. If you

Log into your members area and under the 'Bidding' section click on 'Current Bids'. All bids you
have placed will be recorded here for your reference.
You must be logged in as a member to send a seller a question. When on the rental description page, select the tab ask poster a question, complete the form and this will be forwarded directly to the sellers inbox.
We
have a rating system in place so that all previous bidders can rate the holiday
rental and the owner. This information is listed at the side of the
auction details. In addition you can view the comments
that people have made about the holiday rental or its owner by clicking the
link View Reputation.
When
you place a bid you are making an offer on a holiday rental for what you think
it’s worth and what you are prepared to pay. By selecting the Buy Out option you
are committing to buying that holiday rental for the price specified by the
owner. This option will guarantee the Holiday Rental is yours for that duration
at that price, and will remove the holiday rental listing from auction meaning
no one else can beat you to it.
We facilitate a number of payment methods and these are displayed on each auction listing under the tab 'Payment Methods'. Once
you have won the holiday rental in auction, you will receive an email with the
holiday rental owners contact information and preferred method of payment. A
similar email will be sent to the owner with your contact information. It is
then the responsibility of you and the owner to settle payment directly.
Bidabooking.com does not take or hold payments for holiday rentals listed on
its site.
